Our friend Aurora's artshow opened last night to a full house. It's at The Curiosity Shoppe and runs till May 30th. Aurora is nice. You should meet her. I'm sure you'll be friends.

Here's a few photos of a wedding invitation that we just completed. We concepted, designed, printed, milled, sanded, hole punched, assembled, cut, ripped down on a table saw, etc etc etc. for a client who knew our personal work and gave us complete freedom to do what we wanted. I'll attach the only mockup they saw at the bottom of this post and note the colors changed at the last minute due to the color of the paper and the lack of contrast.

Big Congrats goes out to Deirdre and Michael on their new baby boy. ---->>from the email i got.... Julian Seiya N****** was born March 15, 2008 at 9:07am (26 hours after the water broke (TMI?)). At birth he weighed 6lbs 10 oz or 2992 grams (for our worldly friends) or 2.992 kilos and was 19", sorry no metric conversion. We are now home and beginning the long learning process of caring for a newborn. So far so good. Julian is a peach from the hours of 8am -10pm…then things get more interesting. He's not too much of a crier, but he does require late night attention.

Saw a picture yesterday of Sean Penn wearing one of the shirts that we made for "Milk"- the movie about the life and death of Harvey Milk. The whole Article is HERE and here's the picture of the shirts they wanted and original pictures that we used to recreate the design from.

A class from Academy of Art came by today for a little Q-A. Only two of them had had any screenprinting experience, but they all showed tremendous promise.

Got a chance to go see Control the other day. If you were into Joy Division, the film doesn't disappoint. That's my review.

About six months ago Paul was walking around in the mission when this guy rides by on his bike and his passport falls out of his back pocket. Paul picks up said passport and posts a Lost/Found listing on Craigslist. No one responses. A few days ago, paul sees the trailor for upcoming MashSf movie and recognizes the dude who lost his passport. Paul emails someone at MashSf and they hooked here to get said passport back in the right hands. Supposely, the guy who's passport it was was suppose to go to Japan for something and almost canceled because of the passport issue. Well, "Prince" Paul you saved the day and we are all proud of you for doing the right thing.

It took a little longer then we thought, but everything is back up. With the help of Seth, we recovered 100% of all data and upgraded to a larger harddrive to replace the one that broke. It's amazing how much a broken harddrive can ruin your day(s). One sugguestion to everyone, invest in some sort of backup system. We have been using ibackup for a bit now without any problems, but with Leopard coming out today and some of the upgrades that have been rumored, we may be changing to something else. Maybe some Raid Drives? who knows.
