we received this today from Gary. It's always nice to hear kind words, so i thought that i would post it....
Hello all at ApeDoGood
Hello Anthony, Shaun, Helen and Felicity
Hope this message finds you well and in good spirits. We are all back in England, having had a really enjoyable and educational visit to San Francisco, made more enjoyable by the generousity of individuals like yourselves.
The whole experience has been inspirational as well as insightful.
On behalf of University of Brighton, staff and students, a heartfelt and big Thank you for allowing students to visit your ApeDoGood print studio and for your honest and informative talk. Students really got a lot out of your visit and thought you were all extremely nice and generous not only with your time, but of yourselves. They felft is was of benifit to both illustrators and graphic designers.
Also your gifts of the 'registration' t shirts was much appreciated. I have already seen some students 'sporting' their ApeDoGood printed t-shirts around the University. Some of the students on the visit, took your advice and ordered several screen-printing screens from the place suggested and took them back as additional luggage.
Students on the visit will be creating and putting some things together to send to you guys for your wall (that also includes myself).
We wish you well in the future and now that we are no longer strangers, I hope our paths will cross again in the near future or at least we stay in contact.
If you ever make it across to England you know you have lots of new freinds who are willing to welcome you and return the hospitality.
Speak to you soon,
Gary

The Visit (part2)

We're all growed up
While Anthony works like a anthropoid on the new website till all
hours, things keep popping into my email box, like how to post on the
blog. So.....here is my first test post. The new site is going to be
sweet and usher in a new era of ape do good.

The Visit
A group of students from the University of Brighton in England
stopped by the other day. They flew over here to visit some design shops in SF and made a pitstop at our place to see how the big boys print. It went pretty well. I talked a bit about how garments are printed, the importance of being nice to your printer and the fact that you should copyright your designs, because someone will rip you off. No one was talking notes, but i know that they got the message.
